Final Thoughts
When I started this blog back in 2017, I dreamed of becoming a published author. I wasn’t confident enough in myself yet to write a full-length novel, so I spent my time compiling tips and tricks on writing, along with writing shorter works. It took me years to believe I was qualified enough to do this and then another year to write, edit, and self publish. I’m kind of angry for waiting so long, but I believe everything comes in due time. With NaNoWriMo 2021 right around the corner, I want to push you to write that novel you have been dreaming about. Write it, edit it, then publish it somehow. Whether that is querying for traditional publishing or self-publishing, please take this blog post as a sign that you can do it.
I plan on creating some more blog posts surrounding aspects of self-publishing since I now have first-hand experience with it. If you want to see more content like that, please sign up for my newsletter and follow on Instagram, so you know when the content is coming.
Now, I’m on to finishing my plan for the sequel to The Midnight Huntress, so I can finish writing it for NaNoWriMo this year. Happy writing!
