I was listening to Rachel Hollis’s Rise podcast last week. One of the episodes I listened to was “107: Stop Procrastinating.” In this episode, Rachel is ranting about how we make excuses, so we don’t live up to our dreams. She asked her listeners, what dream are you not fulfilling? When I heard this, something is my heart sparked about beta-reading.
It is my dream to grow my blog to offer paid services and paid resources. One day I will sit down with a cup of coffee blogging my heart out and helping clients with their work, rather than going to an 8-5 job. I love making my own schedule and grinding at something I am passionate about. This is why I have decided to offer beta-reading services to the public for the first time.

Tomorrow on August 11th, I will officially be 24 years old. That seems like such a large, abstract number in my head. I know that in the grand scheme of things, 24 is not old at all, but I can tell you at 14, I had no idea what being 24 would be all about. Last year, I did a birthday post on 23 lessons I had learned before turning 23. However, this year I still feel like I’m learning my lessons, so I don’t have a lot to add. Instead of talking about the things I have learned, this year I want to thank myself for who I have become. Today I want to share with you 24 things I’m grateful to myself for accomplishing, in the hope that it will inspire you to think of things you’re grateful for in your own life.

I can remember discovering Brittany Louise Taylor when watching Shane Dawson’s YouTube videos in middle school. I’m almost positive I was subscribed to her YouTube channel at some point, but eventually moved on to other content. While looking for a new audiobook to listen to, I saw her memoir in my recommendations and decided to give it a try. Today, I’m going to give you my review of A Sucky Love Story: Overcoming Happily Ever After by Brittani Louise Taylor.
